I have pelvic floor dysfunction burning pain vaginal and in perineal area. I have terrible pain while sitting that is different than what I have struggled with for years. I have gone to a rectal surgeon and he kept talking about itching, I told him I do not have itching, gave me some cream but because of my pelvic dysfunction it burns too much to use. He had me stand up and spread my cheeks but said I have minor redness. When I look in the mirror after bowel movement tissue comes out that is white looking, tissue, two drs have said that I do not have hemorrhoids. I do not know where to go or who to see now. I can not travel with my husband or enjoy going out with him because of this. Please give any ideas you have for me.

Have you been seen by gynaecology? Sounds like vulvodynia for the burning vulva and vagina pain. Then bowel and bladder issues associated.
Has anyone suggested it may be pudendal neuralgia? Go to a gynaecologist but one that knows about pudendal neuralgia. I am not saying it is that but it would be worth getting checked out for it.
All the best.
Possibly lichen schleroses?
Have a look at levator ani syndrome similar symptoms.
I see some very good suggestions, other option is symptomatic Tarlov cyst at probably s2/s3, although most doctors will still stick to their opinion that they never cause issues. My vaginal pains were caused by a large one. I had surgery, but I now have rectal issues.
I get burning and the feeling of needles stabbing into my perineum and vulva. The peeling you're describing sounds similar to what I deal with on my perineum during one of these flare ups. I went to GYN and they are doing a biopsy. It might be a good idea to go to GYN and see if they would sample the tissue.
Hi Razzel51,So sorry to hear of your pain and associated issues. I went from urologist to Gastroenterologist having various procedures over a period of 18 months. The medication made me very ill to the point I couldn't function but through this chat list I heard about pudental neuralgia and seeing a pain management specialist, I saw Dr Greenslade in Bristol UK who quickly diagnosed me with a trapped nerve condition called ACNES. Such a relief to know what the problem was. Also on this chat forum I heard about using a donut cushion and a book called Heal Pelvic Pain by Amy Stein. These have transformed my life. I can now travel in a car, train and even long haul flights with very little discomfort. Before the pain would have been horrible until I walked, ran or lay down. It's so debilitating and also stressful when you dont know what the problem is or how to help not hinder.
I wish you all the best and hope you can get the right help soon. But certainly try the donut cushion in the short term. It could be a cheap way to take the pressure off the pelvis and relieve the pain. I bought a nice bag for mine so no one bats an eye when I carry it around and sit in it. Works a treat.

Thank you so much for your comments, will definitely get another opinion
I have the same thing. Been ongoing for 6yrs. A year ago I was told that I had Pudendal nerve damage. I'm now waiting for a nerve block
