Sounds like pudental neuralgia or/and pelvic floor dysfunction.... I have had the female version for about 3 years but I am way better now I did a year and a half of pelvic floor physical therapy I did muscle relaxers for a year low dose and got things pretty much under control except I was still having some burning pain so I am now on a low dose nerve pain med which has helped remarkably well. It takes a few different modalities and quite a while to get this under control but it can get a lot better so don't lose hope you may just have to go to see a pain specialist to get you on something to minimize pain and then you can work on the rest of it

Thank you for the fast responseI will start pelvic floor therapy next week and hope it will help me at least for a while. Can you tell me what medication you took for the pain

It's not work for me(diclo, etc)

It will be helpful if I know what helped you

Thanks a lot

Well because I had terrible anxiety from the nerve pain for 2 years and also from losing friends and family from covid and the burning was still there after everything I tried I went on Cymbalta only 30 mg I'm 200 mg Gabapentin at night and I can honestly say it's been quite miraculous for me although you do have to expect an adjustment period to your body gets used to it which for me I had nausea no appetite for a couple weeks... But I can honestly say it's helped me so much I feel like I have a pretty normal life now burning has stopped and the anxiety is way better

try yoga…look into Dustine Millers dvd “Your Pace Yoga relive for pelvic pain…..also read the book by Amy Stien “Healing pelvic pain”…I have had pundel nurve pain and was misdiagnosed for 2 years…this and herbal remedies are the only thing that have helped…I hope this helps you as well…I was not able to tolerate the medications that were prescribed

May I ask which herbal remedies have helped you? Fortunately I was able to tolerate the medications low dose but I'm curious about the herbal remedies for when/if I come off meds

yes I take valerian root and hops 2 each up to 3 times a day it is a nerve tonic and honestly it is the only thing that has helped as far as pills go…I had terriable side effects with the meds from multiple dr.’s….I am glad they are working for you 🙂
