Pudenal neuralgia and therawand?

Hi there, I’ve been ill for years with abdominal pain, predominantly left sided, and pudendal neuralgia predominantly left sided too along with left si joint dysfunction. I am 25 and I am just so unwell with this condition I feel like my nervous system is in overdrive. Nevertheless I’ve decided to use a wand. I wanted to know if any of you have had success with it? And if any of you ever used it in the rectum? I have like a permanent swelling on the left from my Pudendal neuralgia. It hasn’t gone down in four years and I’m living in a nightmare with Covid. I have begged the doctors to see to me and I’m still on this waiting list. I would appreciate if anyone could shed some light on this lonely and painful condition with a wand. Success stories welcomed

I tired it and had some limited benefits - what worked the best was going to a PT that specialized in PN - they taught me how to self "fix" . Read this book - "a headache in the pelvis" - will give you some tips.

I’ve been told that kegels can irritate the pudendal nerve. I don’t use the wand. I had PNE.

Have you tried passionflower tablets to calm your nervous system? I have the same issues as you and it helps.

Magnesium bisglycinate pills can calm muscle spasms which can irritate the pudendal nerve.

Eat lean and green. Avoid dairy ( it exacerbates inflammation ), avoid sugar, avoid alcohol, and coffee. Your upset nerve is over stimulated as it is.

Drink chamomile tea, valerian tea, mint tea or hot cocoa.

Have you tried pain patches? I can use them because the section of pudendal nerve that enervates my perineum and rectum can have me apply them onto those areas. If it’s too hot, try icy cold patches with menthol or camphor.

Epsom salt baths calm a pained body.

Hi WeWillGetBetter,

Not sure if you tried this already but go to the posts tab under this group. Then in the search bar right near the top, type in ‘therawand.’ There are a number of posts discussing it. I hope it helps!
