Trigminal neuralgia

I need from my fellow members for the following I have on top of PN.

Trigminal neuralgia the pain to left side face relentless and severe there's seem to be no end and I'm taking gabapentin and pregabalin but not help. Can anyone suggest anything else I can take to make it better.

Dry eyes causing real bother and pain, I'm using eye drops but no much help. I'm also liaising with my gp for cataract to my left eye.

My son had trigeminal neuralgia and was not diagnosed immediately (Drs thought it was sinus or teeth) had terrible pain. Eventually was sent to a pain clinic.

He was given amitriptyline together with gabapentine and it was like a miracle. Had take it for a few months while nerve settled down. Hope you can get some relief.

Hi Miriam, your getting better from trigminal neuralgia was really miracle and I would definitely be getting my GP to prescribe these medications.

I’m sorry you are struggling with this. Have you been to a neurologist or a neurosurgeon regarding the trigeminal neuralgia?

I had an awful time with dry eyes last year. Things have improved tremendously since using Refresh Plus lubricant eye drops three times a day.

I hope you can find relief soon.

Have dealt with TN for 20 years. Had gamma knife radiation twice. Helped a ton cut pain in half. Take gabapentin and trileptal for nerve pain. Tried amitriptyline but couldn't drive for work. Good luck it's a shitty thing to have
