Health warning

After eight years of suffering from rectal pain, PNE, and taking Clonazopam for anxiety and muscle relaxants my wife has developed Parkinson's and now is bed ridden as she cannot walk..Consultants now advise that this can be caused by long term use of this drug, I am also advised that the same can apply to other drugs such as anti-psychotics and anti depressants.I am now advised that she is best off all drugs except Parkinson's drugs.

Does this apply to any muscle relaxants too and what particular one was she on?also does it apply to gabapentin and cymbalta?

It may apply to other drugs dealing with nerves or anxiety/depression but the particular drug was Clonazopam ans she was on it for Seven years or more. I was told it can apply to others like mizitipine.

The best you can do is check it out, you will not be given an honest answer from the prescribing GP, you will need to get information from London consultants specialising in dementias.
