Colon transit study advise please

Hello everybody. I was hoping someone could advise.

I had a colon transit study and when i was scanned they couldn't find any markers at all, they even asked if I had actually taken them...... which i did 2x tablets at the same time for 3 days.

The consultant didnt know why this happened and was t botherd but i would like to know why this happened, any ideas anyone please? ???
