I seen a video of this doctor, and he talks a he has studied, cadavers for 7 years, the nerves-tendon-ligaments. I am thinning about setting a appointment I don't know if I have PN. I do believe I have some kind of nerve issues or damage. Form a bicycle crash 11 years ago.

Did you have any investigations done after your accident ie X-rays, MRI pelvis to look for any muscle, tendon, ligament damage? I would suggest if you have not had these then get your GP to request them for you and a referral to a neurologist to do further pelvic nerve tests before you go abroad. You should have MR Neurography to look for pelvic nerve damage also an ENG / EMG - a nerve conduction test. You can google any of these tests to get more information. Also goole the anatomy of the pelvis and pelvic nerves around the area that is causing you pain. Write down your symptoms and take them with you to any consultation with specialists. It is a case of pushing yourself foreward to be investigated and be persistent to get these tests done. Do not settle for a referral to pain management without being investigated to find the cause of your problems. Good Luck and I hope you will find what nerve, muscle, ligament or tendon is the cause of your pain. Keep in touch if you need further advise.

I have seen six neurologists in five years and still not had one test that would diagnose me. I was misdiagnosed as Piriformis Syndrome for thee of those years and kept being referred to pain management. It was only as symptoms became more identifiable as pudendal nerve entrapment syndrome that I went back to ask for MR Neurography of the pelvic nerves and was refused. I put in a complaint about the consultant which is being investigated at divisional level, so that is where I am at the moment. I would not want you to have the same experience. A 3T MRI should diagnose your problem, so good luck. Keep in touch and let us know how you get on.
