I've been to see the gynaecologist twice, I've also had a ultra sound scan but they are still unsure about my diagnosis, they've told me that I have a possible chance of having polycysitc ovaries, and have given me the option of having a laproscopy so they can rule out endometriosis, they also told me that it might not even be that which is causing the pain...they told me it may be my ibs...I'm really unsure about what they have told me..the pain is just about bareable without taking tramadol for my pain, sometimes is that bad I can barely move off my sofa. It's really getting me down 😔 some advice would be really settling right now.

Is there a pattern to the pain ? can you identify when it is worse ? does it coincide with your period ? do you take the pill or any hormone medication ?
There's no point having a laparoscopy just for diagnosis, if you go that route I would go somewhere where the surgeon has the expertise to deal with any disease that is found: ie to remove it. The fewer surgeries, the better !
Hi. This sounds really similar to me. I have no answers and I've had a laparoscopy. Whilst the procedure and recovery weren't too bad I've been through all of that for nothing. Be certain before you have the procedure.
