Hello everyone. I'm new here and I'm here to see if others suffer from Vulvodynia and what treatments others have had.

I've had it for some time, though I had pure nerve pain with every symptom except burning: electric shots, buzzing, stabbing, shooting....It went away after 3 months on amitriptyline and another 300 mg pregabalin, so from an 8 to a 0-1...right now I'm weaning off the lyrica

The majority have burning, stinging, rawness ....so I don't know if that is also pure nerve pain or a connective tissue disorder....

The majority though get better through pelvic physiotherapy !

hi ive been trying to get some answers for some time now i have burning ,stinging and a raw feeling. i have tried long term thrush treatment which didnt help also tried homeopathy and vitamins ive been to so many consultants last one is asking me to try nortriptyline has anyone given this a go and did it help and are there a lot of side effects thank you

Ok everyone I had a Suburethral Diverticulum removed on September 24th. 3 weeks post-op I didn't have any vulvodynia pain. Now I'm at almost at 5 weeks post-op and the pain seems to be coming back. Go for check-up on the 3rd so I'll check back in then.
