Given the function of cilia in moving eggs along the Fallopian tube is there any difference for girls with PCD when they start their periods? My daughter is at an age where questions about what periods are like and discussion of friends starting comes up and it’s only just occurred to me that her experience might be different?

PCD and Starting Periods
From my experience everything was 'normal' when I started my periods, it all fitted in with what my friends of the same age went through and continued that way.
I've had gynae appointments over the years and nothing has ever been suggested that could indicate a difference between those of us with PCD and those without, apart from some have problems conceiving and some don't.
Hi!
Personally I find my periods are irregular and I’ve been through phases.
At times I’ve had a period 2 weeks apart and at times it’s been 4/5 weeks.
I have been trying to conceive for a number of years. So when I had a course of clomid, that settled me into a cycle for a good number of years following it although it did revert back to being irregular.
I recently had a baby (through ivf) and I am back in a regular pattern again.
That may just be me and nothing to do with PCD though 🙃
Mine have always been irregular, sometimes will only last 2 days others 7, will vary in when it comes, sometimes 28 days sometimes longer. No real logic to it which is frustrating.
I was VERY irregular when I was young up until I had chimdren. I could have my period about twice a year ... really irregular.
