My daughter is 5 years old and we are due to go to Majorca Wed 25th May and I can not get travel insurance under 420 minimum ... I'm a single parent and I just can not afford this. How do others insure their PCD children to go abroad? Any suggestion please!

Hi Ava - have you tried some of the companies on our website pcdsupport.org.uk/index.php... ? IT all depends on how many times your daughter has been in hospital in the last 12 months and what treatment she is on. I personally wouldn't travel without the insurance - we have spent a fortune on getting our boys insurance over the years (now 18 and 20) but thankfully never had to use it. Hope you get it sorted and have a great holiday. Fiona
