When do my es payments stop if i am appealing.

Hi i went for an esa medical and didnt get any points so i appealed and sent in sicknotes

my appeal was upheld and sent to the tribunal. I havent been to the tribunal yet. Do my payments stop now or after ive been to tribinal.???.

hi i went for an esa medical in january,iam appealing against them and like you i am still waiting, my money from incapacity was stopped and they are still paying my esa,it has now been 9 mths and still no decision has been made,hope that helps andy

Hi paulno, yr payments will continue as normal as long as you continue to produce sicknotes up until yr tribunal and if you win yr tribunal the length of time it takes for ir to go thro the system can take afew weeks (I won my appeal in May but even tho i had won my sicknote ran out a week later after the tribunal but still needed to produce a sicknote......the usual period after the tribunal for things to get sorted is around 6wks) If you scour thro the discussions/questions on here the ESA questions have been asked b4 etc.......All the best & keep strong with what is for many a rather difficult/stressful situation......Cherry
