Repeat blood test?!

Had routine bloods done last week (GP suggests every 2 months) and have just received a letter from surgery asking me to have them repeated within a week of receiving letter. Why wouild this be? Would have phoined to ask but will have to wait until Monday. Even then, receptionist unlikely to know.

i think the best thing you can do is go in and see them and ask. Otherwise you will start worrying which will do you no good.

Don't worry it could be something and nothing, the labs are very strict if the blood bottles are not labelled correctly they discard them,even if that's not the case the receptionist should have the reason on her computer screen, good luck

Try not to worry. Just deal with it on Monday when the doctors are open again. I know it's hard but try to stay positive. x

Thanks everyone. Turns out 2 of my readings are high. Don't know which 2 but will find out on Friday when I have bloods redone.
