Please share with us what you've done to take care of yourself lately.
I know for some of you that this concept of self care may be new - or even something you don't feel you need to do. You couldn't be more wrong.
We have to believe that we deserve to take care of ourselves - even in the smallest of ways. All of us need to 'recharge' so we can enjoy the things and people around us even more. We can't take care of others if 'our tank is empty'. Women by nature are care givers. Most don't feel they should take the time for themselves - like it's being selfish. Do you feel like that?
I'm not saying to take the day off ( or maybe you can!) and only spend time for yourself. Maybe you could take the time to watch a movie you really like ( even if you've seen it 10 times 😊), just sit and look around you, meditate for just 5 minutes, go for a walk, call a friend, take a class to learn something that interests you.... there's so much we can do that just makes us feel good. Surround yourself with people who contribute to your life and who bring you joy.
