It's real

So many of your posts concern the fatigue and trying to explain it to friends and family. One thing I have found helpful for myself is The Spoon Theory, If you aren't familiar with it, please take the time to read about it. It really helps you to visualize how hard a day can be for us. Just google 'Spoon Theory'. Let me know if you think this helps at all.

Thank you very much DonnaBoll ! I was diagnosed in November 2022 but I was asymptomatic until three months ago when fatigue appeared. It has been so difficult to explain my friends and family how I feel. It’s really new for me too. I always have been so energetic!! This theory will be a great way to explain how it’s my day now. Thanks !!

That’s interesting, thanks Donna!! I’m going to share the theory on our work wellbeing page, as we have a few people with fatigue from various conditions…my colleagues are very supportive and we are lucky to have that environment, but this may/will help them understand even better. Thank you! ☺️
