I was due to have an operation on my bowel but they think my liver is too stressed to risk it. They want me to have a TIPS test. Has anyone experienced this, as the write ups are a bit alarming!!?

Thank you

Hi roseter as no one has been able to come up with a personal experience since you posted may I suggest that you contact the PBC Foundation's help line where they have experienced staff and access to specialists. All their information is on the web side pbcfoundation.org.uk/

hope you find an answer soon, I agree that what we read when researching can be pretty scarey.
