Look into the autoimmune paleo diet (AIP). Dr. Sarah Ballantyne (The Paleo Mom), Phoenix Helix (Eileen Laird) and the Autoimmune Wellness websites are great places to start. I've learned that if I eat the wrong things for my body, I'm inflamed. I shed layers of inflammation by eating what works for my body. Inflammation drives disease. Less inflammation equals slower progression of disease. It's a challenge, but worth it! Good luck.
If your anxious about your PBC contact the pbc foundation on the link above. It’s where you’ll find all the best up to date information. They also have an app you can download and a Facebook page. They run Q&A sessions with PBC specialists where you can submit a question.
I have e been put on Imuran, it has helped with my arthritis, my IBS, and also has brought down my liver enzymes. It might be something you want to mention to your doctor.
