amalgam or white filling?

should I be opting for the white filling ?

Hey Mrsfancypants! While I am pretty sure I have amalgam fillings, I personally would opt for the white. It looks better and I have heard many people say the metal in the amalgam fillings are not good for a person’s general health. I have also heard the metal could be what triggers autoimmune illness. No doctor has ever told me this and I don’t know it to be actual fact. As long as you have a choice pick the safest one.

I didn’t even know that doctors still use amalgam. Horrible that they do!
