Hi Charlene.

I used to get one in a grey tub with a white tab and grey sponge, but haven't had it for a while now. I think it was called Ursogal if my memory serves me correct. Dont know if it's been discontinued or not. Hope this helps.

I take Ursofalk in Australia under license from Dr Falk Pharma in Germany. The brand is Orphan. I tried another brand and prefer this one.

To my knowledge, I think ther is only one Ursodiol—-no generic. The tub might change, the pill’s appearance might alter, but it’s the same. I wouldn’t worry about it.Best,

Don

There are many different generics...the main ingredient is the same but, the fillers are different. One gave me horrible diarrhea. One gives me better alk phos numbers, but it comes from Switzerland & is hard to get.

I usually try to get Ursofalk which is I believe the original URSO. I have also had URSactiv and Ursodeoxycholic Acid which came in a grey tub with a white top and was from GALEN pharmaceuticals however I have also had others that I do not remember the name of that were yellow.

Hi - I have had a grey tub with white lid in my last 2 prescriptions, unfortunately I finished the tub at the start of the week and it went in the recycling so I can't check the name. I'm finding that most of my prescriptions lately are made up of a combination of manufacturers versions, the remainder of the prescription is from a manufacturer called alissa. (which are in blister packs.)

HiI was prescribed some of this brand at the end of last year. They came in the tub as described but also within a white, navy and green box. The details are as follows:

MA Holder:

Galen limited

Craig Avon

BT63 5UA

POM PL 27827/0016

There was no same as such, only Ursodeoxycholic Acid 250mg.

Hope this helps.

I use ursodsfalk they are base in Hertfordshire and you can call them... Their website has a lot of info. It has no colours and chemicals you do not need in the tablet!
