Does hair loss slow down once you adjust to Urso?

I started Urso a two months ago and my hair is falling out. I know others have had problems with hair loss too. Does the hair loss slow down once your body gets used to the medication? How bad did the hair loss get? I don't mind thinner hair but is there a chance that I will lose most of my hair?

Hi

Mine slowed down after a bit, lost enough that I was aware my hair was thinner. I was fortunate that I had alot of hair. I decided to go short at the time but now my hair is as thick as it was in my twenties, long and healthy. Everyone’s experience is different so don’t add any extra worry just now. X

I didn’t have any hair until 2 months ago when the increased my dosage. I started losing handfuls of hair. They took the dosage back down and my hair loss slowed down but I still losing it. My specialist has me taking biotin.

I had hair loss but never really equated it with the pills. I have thyroid issues and assumed it was that. Mine comes and goes. I think it’s less the meds and more the liver. I still have it but I use very good shampoos etc. it helps.

I have been on 1500 mg ursodiol for 10 years. My hair loss is horrible and continues. I have lost eyebrows, hair on my legs and the hair on my head I have lost 80% of it soon will have to wear hair pieces or wigs. My hair was so thick I could not get a hair ring to hold it, now thin. I have tried every type of hair product to help growth, nothing has helped. 😘

Mine slowed down and my hairdresser said it would grow back again after 12 months. He was right and now the hair loss has stopped completely. Hang in there 👍

Hello, I had very minimal hair loss but put it down to the menopause at first. Luckily I have thick hair. After being on 1g Urso for 9 months, it has slowed right down, Try to keep your weight stable as that's how your dose is worked out. Fingers crossed it will be temporary for you. Good luck 🤞😃

HiI had hair loss and my hair was in bad condition. After 6 months it stopped shedding and I started to use Argan shampoo and conditioner and I feel alot better. My hair wasn't great to begin with but it's so much better now.

It certainly doesn't help your confidence along with all the other symptoms!!

Good luck 🤞
