Hi everyone, my latest labs my doctor says were great however I noticed my wbc count was high at 12.9 and it was never mentioned. My plate count was normal at 289 and hg was 7? Is this something I should be concerned about or normal for pbc? My alp has dropped from 318 to 157 not normal could that be causing the slightly elevated wbc?

Hi, I haven’t heard that raised white blood cell count is generally associated with PBC but it can be characteristic of inflammation in general, infection or various other things. Maybe if you get retested in a month or so it might have gone back down? If not I guess you’d ask for further tests. Great news that your ALP has dropped! Best wishes
