PBC or AIH

Good morning everyone. I have AIH PBC overlap. Today I feel completely exhausted, and I have for the last few days to be fair. I am walking much slower than usual, but my ankle and feet are so very painful, my head aches most days too. I have a really bad stomach/digestion issue going on as well. I can't eat because 20 minutes after I am in pain, I feel nauseous, I have terrible wind and burping all the time.....is this a kind of mini flare if so is it PBC or AIH. I dont know any more.....or could this be something entirely different. All I know is that I feel so unwell at the moment. I went for bloods this morning and doctor is going to call when my results are back. I am so very fed up and frustrated because can't do what needs to be done. Thanks x

only just seen this, have you had your results yet? I guess it may be a bit too early. Have you recently been prescribed any new medication? Could it be something like that causing you to feel so unwell just while your body is adjusting?

Hi butterfly, my ALT was 200 in hospital in November..it came down to 22 when on steroids...which I stopped taking 2 months ago my ALT is 200 again with bloods this week...bilirubin is in range, which means no jaundice at least. Inflammation indicators were raised a bit and my cortisol levels are 133... xxx

I hope your doctor has been able to discuss things with you and that there are alternatives to try.
