So im writing this, in hopes of finding a solution. My mother is currently battling a liver condition and she is taking Ocaliva. but inside the US, its a pretty Pricey, and her Insurance no longer accepts it. i will try a different insurance, but i just thought i would ask around and see what other people might have to offer advice wise.
im very new to this situation so im just trying to get a better grasp so i can get help for my mother. thank you for reading.

My hepatologist wrote a letter to the drug Co. Intercept I believe. It took several months but I now get it for zero co-pay. I do have BCBS insurance though.

My dr dealt directly with Intercept Pharmaceuticals also. Interconnect Services assigns a Rep to you & they take care of ordering. I live in Texas & mine comes from So Dakota. Good luck to you.

True. I get it at n/c, even though I was willing to pay an affordable price, that doesn’t exist with Ocaliva, at least for now.
