My baby died of an infection in his lungs at 32 and half weeks. It was called Psuedomonas Aurigenosa.

It’s a bacterial infection he got in the Neonatal ward on the 3rd day of his life. Has anyone’s baby died of this same thing please??

I am so saddened by this reading. As if you do not have enough to deal with. My heart is heavy for your loss. I have heard of this terrible infectious bacterium. It is prevalent in hospital settings. It seems as though people with depressed immune systems have the hardest time with it...the very young and the elderly especially have a difficult time. The strain has become resistant to antibiotics too, making it more difficult to treat. I was a medical social worker in the 90's and was made very aware of this and others. What can I do to help you with this? Be well
