what causes a spontaneous fall
Hello,
How scary for you. Yes. What if you were driving? Something to think about for sure.
This is definitely something to get checked out ASAP. Do you have weak muscles? You didn't say very much about your health history, PBC, or if you have any other reasons this could possibly have happened. But, its not normal for sure. Please get things checked out and let us know how you are. ❤

As Ktltel has said best to get it checked out. I can sometimes stumble off my feet and be clumsy but that is generally when my b12 is low. Let us know how you get on.
Happened to me twice, two years ago. Both times at home. I had some warning. Felt dizzy, saw stars in my eyes, then, fainted and fell. First time, I was out literary seconds, just enough time to fall down. Second time I was out a while, maybe a minute or two, according to my husband, who was trying to bring me back. Both times happened at the time of a gastro episode, stomach pain. I didn't see a doctor about my falls. When we faint, our blood pressure drops suddenly. Something caused it. At this point, I wouldn't worry too much, unless it repeats. But, if you worry a lot, it's better to see a doctor and do some tests. Two of my friends experienced a fall similar to yours, outside, no warning. This was a while back, like 10 -15 years ago. Never happened again to either of them. All of their tests came back normal, including a brain scan.
Apparently, fainting is possible, for no obvious reason and may never repeat again.
I hope there is nothing serious going on with you.
All the best!
Do you have osteoporosis?
On holiday in April and ended up in hospital after passing out four times, tests showed heart was fine. Went to see GP on return who told me "these things happen" I've decided that's what I will have inscribed on my headstone
Have been fine since
I am in exceptionally good health, not overweight, active, good vitals but this shocked me. Hope it doesn't happen again
Ditto for me it was a bigger shock for family members, we were in Ireland for a long weekend and spent bulk of it in hospital (and I was very well looked after by the staff in Saint Luke's in Kilkenny)
Last month , i fell 4 times. One was strait forward on large cemented raised rocks. When i fell my pelvic area cramped up so bad i couldnt get up right away. A month later my pelvic area is bothering me, dont know if this could happen a month later???. Same week tripped over a dog. The othertwo was just plain stuiped. This isnt the first time, its embarrassing because my family watches me when we go anywhere. Next time i go see me primary dr. I will let him know
