Ok, for the last four years I've been blessed to NOT have a period...today...BAM! What gives? Anyone been thru something similar? I had read that PBC would interfere with it but geese...can't it just stay away? Lol

Hi - i am 49 and had scant periods for a year - then a few months after PBC diagnosis and going on Urso. experienced what you said for a couple of months. My GYN said she was sure it was related to PBC and my liver doctor also said it can cause cycles to be irregular. Now i seem back to normal. I am not sure if that is good or bad? Next doctor visit is in two weeks. Best, O

My periods stopped at least 5 years ago but I had one last month. My GP is not happy with this so I have to go for a scan. I've been on Urso since May but my dose has been significantly increased recently.
