Ohh! Ast is high and alt going up means liver stress or disease is progressing , I think..what did your dr say? When is your next appointment?

I see from previous posts that your husband has been on Ursodiol.

Is it possible that he is a non responder to ursodeoxycholic acid? The only alternative at the moment is Ocaliva. I do not know how it works in the States but perhaps you need to speak to your care provider. How is your husband in himself?

he is fine but many days has bloated belly ,and itching every day,

Recent blood tests showed my Alkaline Phosphatase level at 203 which is the lowest it has ever been. Have had PBC that I know of for over 10 years. At that time it was well over 700. Still no cirrhosis that I know of. It depends on the scale that is being used. Contact your consultant if concerned. Best wishes to you both.
