Hi folks. I have been living with pbc since 2009 and doc says i probably have had it since before then. The symptoms are hard to live with but you learn how to deal with and learn your limits. Just wanted to say hello.

Hello, we do learn to listen to our bodies as often as we can, I'm having a hard time at the moment as I didn't listen to mine and have worked loads plus I fancied a nice spaghetti bolognese with loads of cheese on so I'm paying for that the last few days. I will learn! One day ;-)

Hello Sugardoodle

I was diagnosed in 2006 but with hindsight I had symptoms 10 years previously.

Hope you have a good doc who is able to help you.

best wishes

Hi

I have just been diagnosed after a few hiccups. I was told not PBC at one stage, possibly PSC, going to sound md but after reeling at PBC, then told PSC which is more aggressive, I wanted PBC finally got the yes! Stinger in my tale is I have a more aggressive PBC. Do not know enough about that as yet but will be back to update or tell friends here as I find out more.

I wrote a journal a few years back and the fatigue was so debilitating and I was a mess with exhaustion, but I put it down to care for my Granny who I live with and not having respite, but even a one off week away I still was unable to function if I did normal things.

Mine was as seems with a few people was about to be uncovered after 10 months while initially at the Drs for another reason. I kind of think it explains the fatigue and I am learning to read it more now and not trying for the adrenaline that in healthy people kicks in.

Not what you're looking for?
