Hi yes I'm only on urso a week as well and am exactly the same with some stomach problems a few people have said split the dose instead of all at once so will try that from tomorrow.

I take 500mg breakfast & tea time, I'd get confused if I spilt it down to other meal times toon

Me too. 5 days on it. I was hungry for breakfast but not too excited about lunch and dinner.

Hi

I had lost my appetite before I went on Urso. When I first started it, (I take 750 3 times a day) I felt really nauseous and like I either needed to eat or else be sick. Even now I have been taking it since July last year, I tend to have more of an appetite in the morning and early afternoon. As the day goes on I feel less and less like eating things. The advice I was given was to eat smaller portions but to eat regularly. I find that if I am out and about if I carry some fruit or a cereal bar it just helps to get rid of the wave of nausea. think it is important to try to eat even if you don't feel like it at all, because the Urso is added bile which is used to process food. I went to see a dietician and found that really useful.

It took me a few months to get used to the Urso, but I also think at the time I went on it I was quite unwell. I went back to my Gp a few times to see about coming off it. I thought I would not be able to tolerate it but now I don't give it a second thought taking it. I have seen my Consultant twice since being on it my bloodwork numbers have not decreased massively but he described my condition as stable. I generally feel ok, except for the odd stomache pain and tiredness and bouts of nausea. It might be worth you discussing with your Gp other ways of taking the Urso, initial lesser dose or different times.

Hope you soon get used to it and keep well.
