I only take paracetamol. Need to stay away from anything with aspirin in it. I eat normally (although pescatarian) although best to eat little and often. Been diagnosed for 5 years, had it for 9. Still managing most things ok but lucky enough to be retired. Just fatigue problem so need to pace myself. Take care. X

Hello Tracemcd, welcome to the PBC club. You will learn a lot from your fellow pbcers on this site.

I only take paracetamol - was told no aspirin or ibuprofen - if in doubt, ask a pharmacist or yr doctor.

I find eating less fat, more fish and white meat, drinking less tea and more water all help my digestion. I only drink alcohol v occasionally such as when there is a toast.

Like many others, I have learned to pace myself. I do some work, drink some water, have a rest - this way I get through and lead a near normal life. Good luck and keep in touch
