I am stage 1 PBC and diagnosed one year ago. As I was walking home yesterday my forearms and the top of my hands became very red as if I had a sunburn. The rest of my body had clothing and there was no redness including none on my face or exposed neck and chest. This was also accompanied by intense itchiness. The redness and itchiness went away after about 5 minutes. This has never happened to me before. Is this a PBC symptom?

Hi DCGal,
I live in the DC area as well (Falls Church, VA).
