Hi All, : I am back at the Queen Elizabeth... - PBC Foundation
Hi All,
All the luck in the world Brummi, tough guy with the soft insides
Many thanks PCBnPBC. I'm sure all will be ok in the end. If alls ok this time I shall not go back to work, after all I will be nearly 67 depending on liver availability.
Are you getting another transplant brummi?
Hi brummi. My mum is in Birmingham Icu day 4 after transplant. Any advice on what to expect. ?
Hi, I hope that all is well with your mother. After her recovery in ICU she will be moved to a ward ( usually 726 ) . Here your mother will receive wonderful treatment. Also learn about her medications, it's also here you will play the biggest part of her recovery with your care she will be like a new person. Do not hesitate to ask questions. Please pass on to your mother I wish her all the best and a speedy recovery for a long happy future...xxx
Thank you for your response. She was having a bad day yesterday (surgeon said it will happen) however they said they are looking to move her to the ward. Icu is not a very nice place for anybody. Wish you all the best to.
Hi, Moving your mum out of ICU is good news. This means that all is going well. Sure there will be good days and there occasional bad day but these will go. All the best for the future to you all. xx
