Does anyone else suffer with upper right pain that radiates straight through to the upper shoulder/back, and should I be worried about it.

Thank you x

Hello Conniefused,

I gather from others on this site that this is a fairly common feature of pbc. I sometimes get discomfort in my right back shoulder blade myself so I guess this is to do with a liver that is struggling a bit.

I don't think it is something to worry you unduly but suggest you talk to an adviser at the PBC Foundation as they will give you very sound advice. Best wishes
