Bad hip

Hii im 14 and I have a really bad hip I dont know what caused it but it hurts when I walk or move and I dont know what medicene to use any help??

Hi, It may be a bursitus. I have one on each thigh, which affects my hips, and get steroid injections. Best go to the doctor though. Hope this helps.

When my son was young like you he had a very painful hip and could hardly walk. The GP said it was not uncommon and to get him to hospital as fast as I could because it was to do with the growth plate in the top of the femur, the big bone in the top of your leg. My son spend several days in hospital in traction (weights on his legs) while the inflammation settled down. He is 6ft tall man now with no after effects.
