You will be paid from week 14 of your claim. The first 13 weeks of your claim are paid at the assessment rate. From week 14 you are paid the full rate. So just work back to week 14. Hope that helps
There is no limit, the ESA will be paid back to the original point that you should have been paid full ESA, which should be after the original 13 week assessment period.
If it as taken 4 years for your case to reach Tribunal then you will be entitled to 4 years back payment of the difference between the "assessment" payment and the full award payment at whatever the payment rates were for each year.
