acites or fat?

hi its a while since ive been on here.got diagnosed earlier this year but since summer put on about half a stone in weight( i think part due to urso) put it all on abdomen but it feels uncomfortable and like theres a pressure there.doc said my bloods arent high enough for acites.anyone else experienced anything like this.pretty worried.

Did you doc not examine you? Ascites unless very mild can be diagnosed quite easily on examination by a doctor. Lots of liver patients do have upper abdo fat though , not sure why?

thanks for reply.no he just said i couldnt have acites because my blood count isnt high enough.due to see him on 20 december.
