Can anyone give me any idea how long one typically has to wait to have an appeal heard in the Stockport area please.

Hi, is your ATOS appeal through reconsideration with DWP or are you awaiting through the First Tier Tribunal. If it is with DWP it can take up to 12 weeks, if it is with the First Tier Tribunal it can take a number of months. I have waited 7 months and I'm based in London. Apparently it goes depending where you are and how many people in your area are appealing too. But this is based on what I was told while I was waiting for a date in London. Hopefully you will not have to wait very long and I wish you the best of luck with your appeal.
