Update on misleading 'B12 in fruits' web page

I just thought those who commented on Lurcher-Lady's original post (22nd March) about this misleading advice might be interested in the following (I had to email three different depts, receiving holding replies from the first two). They do say they are addressing the matter. If I remember I will check back in a few days to see if it has been corrected.

' Greetings from Redcliffe Labs!

We would like to thank you for highlighting the concern to us regarding the dietary advice for Vitamin B12. We would like to inform you that our team is working on the concern, and we will get it rectified as soon as possible on the webpage.

Your patience and understanding in this matter are highly appreciated.

We deeply value your relationship with Redcliffe Labs and are committed to providing you with the highest level of service simply because our customers deserve the very best'.

It's not as if I have anything better to do at the moment; I'm pretty much nailed to the spot with dizzy spells. I'm hoping it's part of reversing!

They rewrote large parts of it but it still contains howlers such as

"While no dry fruit is a leading source of Vitamin B12, almonds, raisins, and dates contain a notable amount of this essential nutrient."

We await further improvements I guess.

Hmmm won’t totally admit defeat will they 🤨

'Howlers' is polite. If they're fortified with B12 then they'll contain it, and if not, then 'not'. Maybe they'll pick up B12 from the intestines of the consumer, and the 'second-hand', 'slightly used' almonds, raisins and dates might be a source of B12 but I doubt it. Anyone who wants to include monkey-poop in their daily diet [on purpose] is welcome! We do know that B12 that has not been absorbed is excreted by the 'two traditional excretory routes'.

I suppose desiccated liver would be a good source, but that's not really fruit, is it?!

As long as gullible individuals seek help from companies such as this one, nothing's going to change. [Maybe I'm wrong.]

Speaking of monkey poop, there is a group of civits that feed on coffee cherries and they pass through and are then pooped out, then collected and hopefully cleaned before being processed. I am pretty sure they so no contain any B12, but it is the most expensive coffee in the world, running around $1300/Kg. Perhaps Redcliffe Labs can add this to their list of B12 rich foods.
