Hi all I got to see a Consultant Gastroenterologist (Surgeon) yesterday and she’s agreed to take out my Gastric band 🤩 I said I believe it’s caused me to become ‘probably’ deficient in B12! (NICE guidelines ) She said no with a gastric band 🙈 but other obesity operations! I have read some studies saying it can cause problems with absorption. I have mild gastritis and inflammation in my oesophagus!

Anyway onwards! 😉

Best wishes for a speedy recovery! Are you sure you want it removed? It is easy to get more B12 by getting injections.
