If one is going to do a test for folate, do we need to stop taking Folic acid beforehand, if so for how long?

No.You can adjust your folic acid supplement by the result.

That's what i do.

Folate is often done on the same assay as B12.

I've not been able to get it done separately.

I have ordered the test that includes b12, vitamin D and thyroid, no harm in keeping an eye on these too. Last had them checked in August, so be good to see what they are now. I do love a test ….😊
