I guess a short word on B6 toxicity first. There is some international disagreement on the safe daily upper limit of B6, with the US at 100mg and UK/Europe at 10mg/12mg. There seems to be some evidence that the natural form (P5P/PLP) is safer at high doses than its synthetic equivalent, pyrodoxine.
When I last reviewed the upper limits evidence, most of the strong evidence for neurological damage was at above 100mg and took months to years to manifest. The UK and EFSA in Europe however, made a more conservative decision. If you stay under 10mg with any form, it seems very unlikely you would suffer any ill effects and neurological damage seems very improbable.
Whether you need to supplement is quite individual and depends on your diet and whether you're absorbing properly, which should be reflected in your blood results. Certain facebook "protocols" would have it that a certain frequency of B12 injections would require particular amounts of B6, higher than normal RDA's. I haven't seen any good evidence that that would be the case.
