I've posted or replied a few times now about my struggle to stop this medication.

Now I have a new reason.

I've needed a couple of teeth extracted and bled profusely afterwards.

Someone tried to tell me it was my B12 injections, but all I found on that subject is the possibility of INCREASED clotting.

Switching my attention, I found that, in addition to all the other side effects, PPIs can cause thrombocytopenia. That would explain the bleeding.

I'm not trying to scare anyone, but maybe get your bloods checked regularly.

There are definitely case reports about PPI's and thrombocytopenia. Some say it's rare but it's a viable suspect. B12 injections, not so much.
