Sorry to hear you are in so much pain .I'm sure you cant think straight .

Do any drugs give you relief until cause is found ?

Do you think you get enough B12 + cofactors?

Glad you are wading through more tests .

Hope your G.p is kind and helpful.

Get referred on to specialists you think relevant.

I last night was trying to reduce the amount of paper notes I have.

My daughter had years of chronic pain .

Overwhelming to read let alone endure .

She is in s better place now.

Needs regular B12 injections folic acid ect but also needs a drug to function.

I want to give you hope that the right doctor can help.

Get every test .

Eliminate anything.

Do keep up your B12 .

Do get pain relief and help .

If possible go with someone you trust to every appointment to make notes .

I once waxs told off for speaking for my daughter by a consultant.

We had a signal for when I was allowed to.

On this occasion she was not able to speak .

So angry and fighting back tears.

I pointed out to this consultant that he seemed totally unaware how upset she was.

Also she terrified it would back up their beliefs of anxiety and depression.

Who wouldn't be in so much pain??

But only as in pain

Didn't need antidepressants.

A pain Clinic helped manage it a bit until she had a proper diagnosis and appropriate drug.

B12 was at the root of her problems though

Glad you've posted .

Hope answers are found to help you .

Hi Mozza

So sorry to read your post. I would certainly consider self-injecting more frequently as you have little to lose and a lot to gain. You cannot overdose on B12 and it may be worth a punt.

Another possibility is your co-factors, iron and folate in particular - are these sufficiently well stocked - if not the B12 cannot make good blood.

It would not hurt to self-inject every other day for awhile. But go to your doctor. It sounds like you have a lot going on and some or all of it might not be a B12 issue.
