What a week I've had.!!!!!! Can't stop crying!!!!!!
Last week went alright apart from my ear. Me and my 2 daughters met up for a meal with some friends to celebrate my daughters 18th Birthday and we all had a lovely time. (Thank you to the people who reply to my post last Thursday). My daughter had a lovely time and got spoiled.
Then last Friday I tried to get a docs appointment as my ear is still like a river and I've losted most of my hearing in that ear, the earliest they can do is two weeks time, so I took that one.
Then Saturday, my daughters boyfriend dog died so they were both upset then things just went down hill from there. So in the end her 18th Birthday turned sour as my other daughter who's pregnant hadn't felt her baby move so off to hospital we went. Thank goodness everything was alright as the baby was in a funny position.
We then thought no more could go wrong but how wrong we were. I had a stomach bug to go with my bad ear then to top it all my daughters 8 month old kitten was found dead yesterday in the garden. We have no idea what happened to her, I remember she went out with the dog's and never came back in so I went to look for her and found her dead. The poor little one had an operation on her jaw when she was 5weeks old then had an eye removed in Feb.
As you can image, me and my daughters are heart broken so I planted some flowers where she is. I've up my painkillers as my back is really bad (bad weather causes problems.) I've also bought some B12 spray the other day.
Sorry about waffling but it's my way of coping by writing it down, I learnt that from my counsellor that I see as I suffered badly with chronic depression. I've suffered depression since being groomed as a child.

I'm so sorry things have been so difficult, especially when you're trying to cope with. health problems.
It's actually healthy to grieve by having a good cry BB and writing things down is recommended by a top psychiatrist - since I've been doing this, I've found it much easier to let things go and not dwell too much on what can't be changed.
I hope everything starts to get better for you soon and health improves.
doesn't your practice have a slot for emergencies? Your ear sounds so painful - let alone all the other situations you are having to cope with. poor you.
🤕 poor you, sending big hugs. Do try to get emergency appt at gp on monday if you can hang on that long. I usually wait at the surgery for them to open rather than try to get through on the phone. All the stress of this week has probably chomped away at your b12 too.
I think it is good for you to write your feelings - writing the story of your experiences helps a person deal with them I think. Don't apologise for it. There is nothing wrong with off loading here - we are all strangers, but caring strangers.
How did you get thru the week? You are obviously a very strong woman and have supportive family all helping each other through it. Hang on in there and continue to have a good "rant" whenever you feel the need.
Hello Bentlyboo. I'm really sorry that you've had such a bad week but what a great joy, celebrating your daughter's eighteenth birthday. Just so sad that other things pushed it all 'off-track'. And isn't it awful how past 'happenings' creep in when we're at our lowest ebb and bite us when we least need it (to put it mildly).
If I recall from your previous posts, you've had antibiotics for your ear infection and are waiting an ENT appointment?
Well....the antibiotics obviously haven't worked!
You should'nt be waiting for two weeks to see a GP if your ear is still leaking!
Please make an urgent appointment to see you GP tomorrow or go along to an urgent care centre or A & E if your GP won't see you.
It might be a good idea to get an ear swab taken so that it can be determined what organism is infecting your ear. You can then be given the correct antibiotic to fight the infection. It sounds as if whatever bug you have may have been resistant to the particular antibiotic you were given (but don't worry, this is fairly common and there are others you can try).
Your GP should be seeing you on a regular basis to check how the infection is responding to treatment, whilst you await the ENT appointment. It may be that you have to try different antibiotics to get this thing under control.
I wish you the very best of luck and hope that the crying runs out soon (a healthy process, as others have said).
