Hi Ela23el, if I'm interpreting correctly, this question is rather broad and depends on the individual's starting point and your definition of "physical condition." If you have a B12 deficiency, then certainly, supplementing with B12 (as cyano, hydroxo, or methyl), should improve one's health, which I take to be synonymous with "physical condition," by addressing the underlying deficiency. If one already consumes (and absorbs) adequate B12, then supplementation is unlikely to make much further difference. But please let me know if I misunderstood your question.

that is, if it helps with the condition of the body, because I do pilates and I was thinking if it would help me more in toning my shape

Thanks for clarifying. I’m not aware of any evidence that b12 can make you more fit. Only exercise can do that. That said, I suppose it could indirectly help if you have a deficiency, if by correcting the deficiency you’re able to work out more.

Hi Ela23el,

There is lovely that you are able to do Pilates.

Quite a lot of us who have had PA/B12 deficiency lost the ability to stand, sit or walk. We could not balance, struggled to initiate steps, are too dizzy and/or have severe vertigo. Have poor eye sight so also bump into door ways.

The severity of PA/B12D is vast. Some people are permanently disabled with Subacute combined degeneration of spinal cord.

Pilates, yoga, Tai Chi, Qigong are all amazing. Have fun and enjoy yourself.
