Dr Joseph Chandy's "funeral will take place on Friday, January 12, 2024, at midday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Westway, Peterlee. "

" There will be a procession/drive-by of the funeral cortege at Fourth Street Horden where he worked before the church ceremony and the family are inviting the community to be part of this as another opportunity to pay their respects. "

Here here. Dr Chandy’s book was the first one I read re B12d and the first time that the road to self help made perfect sense. What a great man, he will be sadly missed.

Thank you Sid_Arthur,

A very sad loss indeed. He truly was an inspiration. I am pleased to learn that his son and grandson have followed in his footsteps. Dr Joseph would have passed on his knowledge, skills, attitude, passion and determination to them.

Dr Chandy was such a credit to his profession. He cared about patients, he listened and treated people with kindness and compassion. He fought tirelessly for those with b12 deficiency and his work must be acknowledged and remembered. I shall also write to the bbc ( Last Word) .
