Yes I had was jittery and on edge.Try to eat .

Little and often .

It really helps.

As low blood sugars make you shake too.

The nervous system is in overdrive .

It will settle

Hi thanks for your reply ,hope you mind but did they make you feel sickly, to be honest I felt better before I had them. The first batch I had was in 2019 never had a follow up ,then came covid so it's over a three

Year gap and I got worse no energy cold hands and feet it was a chiropractor who looked at me and said, sounds like b12 to me only when I went to the doctors and requested medical records and the b12 levels were abnormal ,only then did they act

Hi gwp

Going through my loading doses followed by the next 3 months was incredibly tough, I coujd not see my self ever getting better and I cried a lot, slept a lot, worried a lot and ate little as I felt too ill to eat. This is normal and called reversing out symptoms.

So try to drink plenty and eat treats whether that’s some fresh fruit, a salad, cheese whatever. I started eating very small portions - mouse like and this helped. Unlike drugs masking symptoms the administration of vitamins address the root cause - the root cause is deficiency leading to nerve damage - nerves are being rebuilt all over, randomly, hap-hazardly which is painful and a new experience hence you feel so out of sorts. I found that if I imagined all the energising in a positive way it helped a lot to cope.

Hang in there as it sounds as if your body is responding positively.

🤗🤗🤗

What type of B12 are you receiving? I had a very bad reaction to methyl B12. Similar symptoms to what you are describing plus insomnia. I have no problems with cyanocobalamin.

Try Huel complete meals to keep up nutrients. Tasty and easy to drink when you cannot eat much. Healthy and nutritious soups good too.

I lost my appetite, felt nauseas and couldn't eat solids for about 2 months or so, I had a strange taste in mouth and lost far too much weight -food is crucial for recovery, so ensure this doesn't happen to you!

GP can prescribe similar things, I was having Fortisip for a few months, but it's quite disgusting and flavours are very limited.

Increase the gap between two consecutive shots. It typically happens when you are severally deficient in B12 and/or injecting shots for the first time. As RBC mature, it leads to transient potassium deficiency. Taking small amounts of over the counter ORS ( WHO recommended formulation) throughout the day should help you. I am not a doctor and this advise is based on my personal experience.
