Hi, this is a new testing laboratory to me & wondered, as it’s an NHS lab, whether the results of your private finger prick test are uploaded to your NHS record ? Or do results just get reported to the individual ?
And is the result report similar to Medichecks i.e. graph, doctors comments ?
Thanks

I am not fully understanding your question. But I would say no is the answer because if you went to your NHS GP, they would use your NHS number, order blood tests using your NHS Unit number.
An NHS phlebotomist takes your blood. It gets taken to a NHS laboratory or on occasions private one. Someone like TDFlipper works on it. Answers are uploaded onto NHS Unit Number database.
It does not matter if the company are using an NHS laboratory. If you purchased your test over the internet, they do not know your NHS Number or NHS Unit number. Most finger prick tests are purchased on the internet.
If you went to a private doctor, they can access your NHS Unit number.
Internet companies who sell blood or finger prick tests cannot access the NHS Unit database or NHS number database for a particular reason. Can you guess why ???
