Thank you
The smallest syringes available are 1 ml to the best of my knowledge, but these have markings on them to measure .25ml if needed.
Thank you and are the for s/c
All syringes can be used for both SC and IM. The ampoules usually have 1 ml in and I use a 2 ml syringe.
Thank you
I’m new to this so apologies for the questions.
I’m after the finest needle possible because I had an IM shot on Thursday thinking it was going to be sc but it wasn’t and I found it really painful and apart from that I don’t want a blast of a delivery, I’d like a gentle, slower one
So far, I’m not feeling anything other than disturbed sleep and I feel this might be because it was too much too quickly
I’ll be buying the methyl in powder form for reconstitution with saline
Thanks again
You can find 30G x 6 or 8 mm on Amazon called Antonmove . You can only inject slowly with such a fine 30G needle .
Or you can buy I ml insulin syringe with attached needle if you are able to extract the B12 without blunting the needle by touching the sides or bottom of the glass vial . ( medisave.co.u.k. )
Hello, I use the methyl powder, buy from Oxford Bio. I s.i. Subcutaneously.
They recommend 8mm 30g insulin syringe from medisave.
medisave.co.uk/bd-microfine...
I have tried (using up stock) 1 ml and 2ml syringes with 13 mm 30 g needles, and with 6mm needles always had difficulty drawing up. Had air resistance and chunks of air in the liquid that I managed to draw up. Hopeless.
So ended up buying 8mm 30g (very fine) insulin syringe. Success!
Hope this is helpful.
That’s very helpful, thank you!
I too will be using the methy powder from Biosciences. Very keen to hear how you’re getting on with it. Have you been taking it long and what led you to it
About a half into my 2nd larger quantity bottle. The bottle is tiny, has to be covered in foil, so I do not find it easy to ascertain level. Have to be careful to insert enough but not to blunt needle.
Research docs said methylcobalamin for neurological symptoms. So inject hydroxy and then methyl and take SL drops of methyl and adeno. Since taking Oxford ' methyl. (their equivalent to 1 ml) found sleep, urination, mood happier, calmer. I hope it lasts.
That is just me, your reactions might be different. Some members find no difference between hydroxy and methyl injections.
Best wishes.
I would like some of that good sleep effect please!

Can I ask why you take so many different types and a different form too? I’m only just learning and finding all the information quite confusing
Obviously we’re all different and no one size fits all but so far, every single person I’ve spoken to has a different way of doing things
Getting to grips with my thyroid condition seems a doddle in comparison!
However, thank you!
Yes every body's need is different. Concentrate on what you need to heal, your symptoms, this may change.
I do not retain B12. so I inject every day. I keep a diary or note of any changing symptoms, and treatment regimen.
I did research and symptoms dictate types of cobalamin used.
Now other physical problems and external physical and mental stresses means I inject 3 times a day and use SL to boost B12.
(I will inject 4 times if necessary).
So I find it advisable to up B12 at times of stress, you will learn what your body needs.
The Pinned Posts on the rhs about Resources is very helpful.
Best wishes.
.
I got 0.3 ml syringes on Medisave but they are combined needle syringes ( insulin ones) and the needle very short.
