I have found than any increase in dosage leads to temporary adjustment including digestive issues.

Think you are spot on here WIZARD6787 - as you know I started my SI journey about 5 weeks ago, EOD mainly and have noticed on the plus side no more bleeding gums or dry cracking at the corner of my mouth - on the downside a bit of bowel disturbance but as I am diagnosed Coeliac too, I could put it down to that although am totally gluten and oat free in everything I eat, so the only possibility is the increased B12 within my system. Can I ask how your digestive issues manifest, if you don't mind sharing!?

Nothing specific and it's not always the same thing. It is very much like being at sea level and then going up to 9000 ft in Quito, Ecuador and being out of it for 3 days.

I'm curious, why avoid oats? They should be safe if marked gluten-free I thought and most people with Coeliac disease can eat them. If you don't react to them, would be quite a healthy food, especially in wholegrain form.

Hi Technoid, can quite understand your confusion in my avoiding gluten free oats. Unfortunately I'm one of about 10% (I think that's the percentage), of Coeliacs who also react to the oat protein - it is called avenin. Produces the same effect as gluten - i.e. vomitting and/or upset bowel etc. Shame really as I used to love porridge and as you say it's considered a healthy food.
